I didn't think any restaurant deserved 5 stars BUT this one does. Family owned and run. All the dishes were excellent. Tasty and presented so well. The staff were all smiling and obviously happy at work! A real gem. PS at last we found a restaurant that makes it own chips! They were superb 😁

First time being there last night to celebrate my daughter’s graduation. The food was delicious, we could not fault it. The service was excellent too, the lady (manager potentially) asked us were we celebrating an occasion and brought us a complimentary extra starter and offered us complimentary tea at the end of our meal. Would highly recommend!

Amazing food in a tucked away inconspicuous spot. Best butternut squash soup I’ve ever had! The Thai beef strips were also delicious. And the pork belly main was tender and paired perfectly with fresh mashed potatoes and greens. Phenomenally flavorful food! Highly recommend!

A fantastic family-run restaurant with top-notch staff and service. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The two-course meal was a hit! The seabass with basil and tomato sauce was definitely worth the wait, and the Goat cheese with walnut, and apple salad was a delightful combination. The ambience of the restaurant really added to the overall experience. I highly recommend it! 🌟🍽️

Food exceeded our expectations greatly. Everything was cooked well but the flavour was phenomenal. Each dish was full of flavour and presented well. The staff were extremely accommodating and very friendly. Can not fault this place at all. We’re only here for 2 days but would definitely eat here again. Could not recommended this place more. BYOB aswell, what’s not to like. Facilities here are well maintained and overall an amazing dining experience. Food came very quickly aswell.

I've been to this place loads of times and introduce new friends all the time. I've never had a bad experience. The staff are lovely, the food is delicious and the prices are really reasonable. It's BYO for the most part but, check their website or Facebook to see if they sell what you want to drink because you can't bring what they already have. It's less than 5 minutes from the International Youth Hostel,, Holiday Inn, Hampton by Hilton, Etap,The Europa and Fitzwilliam so if you're staying in any of these places and you're thinking about eating somewhere else, you should definitely give this place a go. You'll be given a really warm welcome.

We were a large party of 20 for dinner. I had never been but heard good things but was worried as some restaurants struggle with large groups but it didn't disappoint. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the service was excellent and the food was amazing, everyone at our table commented on how delicious it was. Great portion sizes and excellent value for money, will definitely be back.

Fantastic. Just fantastic. I haven't had better sea bass anywhere. The garlic potatoes had oodles of garlic butter. The Thai beef was an excellent starter. I also tried the fish cakes and pork, delicious. Serving sizes were generous, staff were very attentive, menu was well priced. AND it's byob. Nothing bad to say about it. Great night out.
